An appetizer recipe inspired by chef Sarah Gallienne, of Style & Grace! These bites made of nectarine and goat cheese are just like sunshine in your mouth, bursting with the juicy flavour of the fruit with the tang of a nice chèvre. This is a recipe you’ll want to hold onto for when you need a quick app to bring when visiting. Not only is this a delicious and nutritious treat, but it’s also one of the quickest recipes to whip up!

Ingredients:
Nectarines
Goat cheese
Fresh basil
Pecans
Lemon for zest
Honey
Directions:
Slice the nectarines and remove the pits.
Toasts the pecans in a pan over high heat until golden brown.
Fill the center of each fruit slice with goat cheese, then top with toasted pecans.
Garnish with finely chopped basil, freshly shaved lemon zest and drizzle with honey prior to serving.
