These chocolate bites are a dream of a treat for all you chocolate lovers out there! They are indulgent, decadent, tasty bites that are packed with the magnesium and protein you need to fuel your day. You won’t want to skip this recipe! These chocolate bites are quick to make and easy to keep on hand for when you need a little pick-me-up 😉
Prep time: 7 mins | Cook time: 3 mins | Total time: 10 mins
Ingredients:
1 cup of almond or oat flour
4 tbsp raw cocoa powder
1 scoop protein powder
1/3 cup natural peanut butter
3/4 cup of milk of choice
1/2 tsp vanilla
Chocolate dipping sauce:
1/2 cup dark chocolate
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp real maple syrup
Directions:
In a large bowl blend together the flour, powders, peanut butter, milk and vanilla. Make into balls and place on parchment paper. It should make approximately 14-15 balls.Â
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together, whisking until smooth, and then stir in the maple syrup.
Roll each ball into the chocolate sauce and place back on the parchment paper.Â
Sprinkle sea salt on the top of each ball, if desired.
Place in fridge for at least 45 minutes to let harden.
