Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp butter – divided
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bag of raw shrimp (thaw and peel)
- Juice of a lime (at least 2 tbsp or more)
- 2 tbsp water
- Fresh chopped parsley OR cilantro
- Fresh ground pepper and salt to taste
Directions:
- Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a skillet over med-high heat.
- Add the garlic about a minute.
- Add shrimp, pepper to taste.
- Cook 2 minutes on one side and then flip and cook other side until shrimp are just beginning to turn pink.
- Add 1 tbsp of butter, lime juice, and water.
- Cook while stirring, until butter melts and shrimp are cooked through. Remove immediately from heat not to overcook.
- Add more lime juice or pepper if needed. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley.
Optional Ingredients:
- Can use lemon instead of lime.
