Ingredients:
- 1 heaping cup of cut up dates
- ¼ cup of honey
- ¼ cup of creamy peanut butter
- ¼ almond butter
- 1 cup roasted unsalted almonds
- 1 ½ cups of rolled oats
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- pumpkin seeds
- dried cranberries
Directions:
- Place your oats (if raw) and almonds in the oven at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes, or until desired toastiness.
- Place oats, almonds, dates, pumpkin seeds and cranberries in a large bowl and set aside.
- Warm honey, peanut butter and almond butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Mix well, then pour over oat mixture and blend together.
- Once thoroughly mixed, transfer to a 9×9 baking dish (or other small dish) lined with parchment paper. Press down firmly so granola is flat and packed together.
- Cover with parchment paper and set in fridge to firm up for 20-30 minutes.
Recipe Notes: There are so many mixtures to be had with granola bars! Feel free to add in any of your favourite nuts and dried fruits, or swap out the honey for maple syrup 😉
