Dessert Hummus

Let’s take hummus to the next level! You may snack on it during the day, but how about as a sweet treat after dinner?? This dessert contains protein, magnesium, polyphenols, fiber and, depending on what you’re dipping, even more vitamins! No matter what time of day you’re enjoying it, this hummus is sure to cut those sugar cravings fast ;)

Chocolate Hummus:

  • 1 can of chickpeas, drained
  • 5 Tbsp cocoa
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup & 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ – ¾ cup pf non-dairy milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla

Cinnamon Hummus:

  • 1 can of chickpeas, drained
  • 1 ½ – 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp almond or cashew butter
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • ¼ -⅓ cup pf non-dairy milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp cream of tartar


  • Put all ingredients into a food processor. 
  • Blend on high until texture is smooth and creamy.   
  • Enjoy!
