For those who need to start from scratch, those starting over, or those who are recovering from an injury, this class is for YOU. We will go through the fundamentals of fitness, learn proper techniques, and build from the ground up. Count on great music, motivating instruction, and positive group energy. ‘Start’ today!
Type of activity: low impact cardio, functional strength training
Fitness Level: Beginner to intermediate
Know before you go: bring 1 lb and/or 2lbs weights. (bring heavier if you have been using weights frequently. If starting use suggested weights). Water bottle, comfortable clothing to move in and indoor running shoes. On your first visit, come 10 minutes early to sign a waiver and familiarize yourself with the studio.
What to expect: You will leave feeling like you have had a thorough workout. All moves will be standing (no mat work). This class is low impact. Lots of coaching to help you with your technique. It can be as gentle or as intense as you want – we’ll leave that up to you.
